Installation Guide:

  1. Safety First: Ensure the engine is off and cool. Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  2. Relieve Fuel Pressure: Follow the manufacturer's service manual to safely relieve fuel system pressure. This is a critical safety step.
  3. Disconnect Injector: Unplug the electrical connector from the fuel injector you are replacing.
  4. Remove Fuel Rail: Detach the fuel line and unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold.
  5. Remove Old Injector: Carefully pull the old fuel injector from its port. Be prepared for minor fuel spillage.
  6. Prepare New Injector: Lightly lubricate the new injector's O-rings with clean engine oil before installation.
  7. Install New Injector: Press the new fuel injector firmly into its port on the fuel rail and intake manifold.
  8. Reinstall Fuel Rail: Secure the fuel rail back onto the engine and tighten the bolts to the manufacturer's specified torque.
  9. Reconnect: Reattach the fuel line and the electrical connector to the new injector.
  10. Final Checks: Reconnect the battery. Prime the fuel system by turning the key to the "On" position a few times, then start the engine and carefully check for any leaks.
